Former Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard made a visit to Barcelona to watch them play Celta Vigo in a match that ended 2-2.

Rijkaard managed Barcelona for five years, winning the UEFA Champions League, as well as La Liga twice.

The former boss, along with his son, met up with stars such as Lionel Messi and Gerard Piqué. This is what he had to say:

“I’m very happy to see a Barça game again in the stadium, most of all, for my son. He just turned 8, his dream was to watch a Barcelona game live. Just like almost all kids around the world, Messi is like a god to him.

“These players fill me with pride. I always follow them from afar, and I’m very happy for them. They have had great careers, I hope they keep going for many years that way.

“I’m glad I did good things for the club, I have very good memories because of that. I have to give thanks to all the people I worked with. My technical staff, a phenomenal group of players. It’s a good memory.”
