Don’t look now, but Ousmane Dembele took part in Barcelona’s first team training on Wednesday. The club put a photo of Demble taking part in training on Twitter and it’s safe to say that it’s warming the hearts of Barcelona fans around the world.
@Dembouz takes part in his first 'rondo' with the squad before continuing his solo work as his recovery from injury carries on #ForçaBarçahttps://t.co/o3I1uUESqF— FC Barcelona (@FCBarcelona) December 6, 2017
The club made it clear that the injury is still being recovered from, probably to calm the hopes of Barcelona fans everywhere that a return before December 23rd’s El Classico is possible.
“At the session Ousmane Dembélé took part in the ‘rondo’ warm-up exercises for the first time since he was injured in the game against Getafe back in September.
Following his appearance in the ‘rondo’ with the rest of the squad, the French striker carried on his session alone as his recovery from injury continues.”
It remains unclear when he’s going to return to the pitch. Of all the players recovering from injury around the world, surely Dembele is one of the ones that you want to be the most careful with. He’s a key part of Barcelona’s future and rushing him back cannot be an option.
