We know they put you under pressure and try to win the ball back close to your own goal,” reflected the Barça coach before describing Diego Simeone’s outfit as “one of the best teams that there is in Europe.”

Barça and Atlético are no strangers to playing each other in the Spanish Cup. In fact, this is the sixteenth time that the Catalans will have made the trip to the Vicente Calderón, or the Estadio Manzanares as it was originally named, to face the red-and-whites in the knockout competition.
