After an hour of scoreless action, Barcelona have broken the deadlock against Atletico Madrid at the Vincente Calderon. In sort of a broken play, the ball fell to Rafinha in the box who slid it past Jan Oblak for the match’s opening goal. It wasn’t a thing of beauty, but it’s a goal nonetheless.
It hasn’t been an action-packed match, but both sides have had their chances. Barcelona have probably had the better of the chances, having a goal saved off the line on one occasion. There’s 30 minutes left for Barca to hold on and gain a huge three points away from home.
