Barcelona beat Athletic Bilbao 3-0 on Saturday and won three important points to stay in the title race. Lionel Messi broke another record, Neymar returned to his best form and both Paco Alcácer and Aleix Vidal scored.
It was not all good news, though. Gerard Piqué was replaced by Javier Mascherano at halftime, and many thought the substitution was due to Piqué having a yellow card. It was not that, and it's not the best of news:

An overload isn't exactly an injury, it's kind of a message from the muscle saying "hey, stop using me or I'll die here", and Piqué was subbed off as a precaution. In just two days, Barça face Atlético Madrid in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals, and Geri wants to be part of that match.
Still, the game is in just two days and Piqué is in danger of missing that match. It may be that it was really a precaution and he just decided not to play the extra 45 minutes against Bilbao to play 90 minutes against the Colchoneros, but two days is still a short recovery period and we'll have to wait for the squad list to see if he'll be available.
Stay tuned.
