Some encouraging news on the injury front: Gerard Piqué and Sergio Busquets could both be fit to start in FC Barcelona’s second leg clash against Atlético Madrid.

Piqué was subbed out during Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Athletic Club Bilbao with a slight niggle, but Luis Enrique said the player was “fine.”

Busquets would be making his return after a nasty challenge sidelined him for the past few games.

Both are essential pieces for the Blaugrana so their presence is a major boost for Barcelona’s chances of reaching the final.

Andrés Iniesta and Lucas Digne are both back in training and hoping to be fit to play some minutes against Atléti. Iniesta will play if he’s fit, though I wouldn’t expect Digne to log any minutes unless there is some unforeseen problem with Jordi Alba.

Rafinha is working out individually after he collided with Marc-André ter Stegen during the match against Athletic.
