Barca Blaugranes Wants to Know: How can we improve our Barcelona coverage?

New, comments

We try hard here, but we can always get better. We want you to tell us where/how/why

Hello, everyone! Renato here (you probably know that, my name is right above this sentence. Well done, dummy), and I would like to speak with you guys about the state of our blog.

If you're new here, welcome! If you're not new here, you probably know we have grown a lot over the past few years, and we kind of became a place where a lot of Barcelona fans came to read news, watch videos and comment on their favorite team. We are proud of being part of SB Nation, which means we are fans and we write for fans.

But no one will ever be perfect, and we have made mistakes (plenty of them, possibly). We remember a time where we had 2,000 comments on our thread for the Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich, and our coverage was world class back then. Somewhere along the way, we've lost our momentum and we're struggling to figure out how to get back to that point.

So instead of just thinking about it alone, we want the most important members of this site, you, the fans and readers, to talk about what do you think could improve our coverage. Do you want more posts to read? What kind of posts? What type of coverage do you expect from us before, during and after the matches? What are we doing right, and what should we do better?

Do you feel welcome in our comments section or are you hesitant to share your thoughts because of the way some members are treated? Should we do better in our moderation?

How can we improve? How can we evolve? What do we need to do for you to feel good about reading and commenting here every day? What do you think we can do to attract new people and make this once again a really good blog?

Please feel free to share your opinions in the comments. Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated. Fire away!
