Rather than let him go free...

Real Madrid will be asking for 35 million euros, plus variables, this summer in exchange for Isco Alarcón, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport. Isco hasn’t really gotten his chance as a starter in his time at the Spanish capital and he could leave for free in 2018.

Real Madrid would rather recoup some value for him than let the playmaker go free. Isco came over from Málaga in 2013, but he hasn’t broken out from the bench under any of Carlo Ancelotti, Rafa Benítez, and Zinedine Zidane.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Isco is on Barcelona’s wishlist. While it’s unclear who will coach Barcelona next season, Isco has been long rumored to be a possibility to join the Blaugrana. Plus, there have been reports that Isco had been a fan of Barcelona’s, and particularly of Lionel Messi’s, before joining Madrid.

Would you pay 35 million for Isco?
