According to reports, Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has lost the confidence of his star trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar after the recent breakdown in Champions League and the three have even missed training this week.

There are rumours going around that Barça's star-forwards have not been speaking to Luis Enrique since the draw midweek, and are upset with plenty of decisions made by the coaching staff this season, particularly the inclusion of Jeremy Mathieu in the loss against Malaga and the away leg in the Champions League quarter final.

The French centre-back was unimpressive in both games costing Barça crucial points, and was left out in the home-game against the Italian champions, as Barça made their exit from Europe.

Not only are the three South Americans vexed with tactics and squad selections, there is also discontentment regarding the transfers made this season, including the likes of Andre Gomes and Paco Alcacer, who failed to make an instant impact despite arriving for significant money.

The duo arrived from Valencia in the summer and have failed to cement their places in the starting XI due to their prosaic performances. While Paco Alcacer has shown incredible progress in recent games, Andre Gomes continues to remain a figure of dispute, due to his game-time.

Things are crumbling at the moment in the locker-room and if these rumours are to be believed, then it is of utmost importance that the coach and his men sort things out, if they expect to take home any silverware this season.

Here's to hoping that the conditions are perfect this weekend when Barça visit the Santiago Bernabeu.
