Here’s something fun. Jordi Alba, Javier Mascherano, Sergi Roberto and Rafinha all participated in another edition of the “bottle goal” challenge. Basically, you set up a mini goal between two water bottles, and try to pass the ball through.
Each player takes four shots, each one further than the last - and worth more points, too.
Last time FC Barcelona did this, Samuel Umtiti impressed, winning through the use of an unusual technique of hitting the ball with the inside of his foot. He missed the first shot, but he made every subsequent one with a sliced effort that made the ball loop away from and then towards the goal.
This time around, it gets dramatic. It goes down to the very last kick. No more spoilers, just watch:
