Semedo posts amazing stat on his La Liga debut for Barcelona

It’s fair to say Nelson Semedo made an instant impression for Barcelona on his La Liga debut, particularly in the first half.

Ernesto Valverde started the summer signing at right-back and was rewarded with a very impressive performance by the Portugal international.

And Opta did a great job of highlighting exactly how good Nelsinho was in the first half, managing a feat no-one else on the pitch could match.

Right-back has been a problem position for Barca ever since Dani Alves’ departure, and while this is only one performance, Semedo is looking like some buy already.
