Champions League draw live stream 2017: Start time and how to watch Barcelona’s group stage draw online

All the information you need about the Champions League Group Stage draw.

With the qualifiers for the Champions League completed, UEFA are wasting no time in setting the table for the 2017 part of the Champions League. The draw for the Group Stage will be made today, August 24, at 6pm CET at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

32 teams have been split into four eight-team pots. Pot 1 consists of the title holder and champions of the rest of the top-eight ranked nations. The remaining 24 teams have been split into three pots depending on their UEFA club coefficient.

Each of the eight group will consist of one team from each of the pots. Teams from the same association cannot be drawn together. According to a decision made by the UEFA Executive Committee, Ukrainian and Russian teams cannot be drawn against each other either. Group Stage matches will begin on 12/13 September. The other match dates are 26/27 September, 17/18 October, 31 October/1 November, 21/22 November and 5/6 December.

The draw will be live streamed online the moment the ceremony begins and can be found on the uefa website.
