FC Barcelona have officially signed Jose Arnaiz from Real Valladolid. The 22-year-old winger was bought for 3.4 million euro, which could go up to 4 million if he makes the first team or plays for Spain.
Arnaiz signed a three-year deal, with the option to extend it for two more years. The release clause starts at 20 million for the initial deal, and goes up to 40 million for the two additional years if they are taken up. He will play for Barcelona B, at least initially.
He was considered Valladolid’s best player as the Pucela finished seventh in the second division.
