Sky: Tottenham Hotspur in for Barcelona Midfielder Andre Gomes

Tottenham Hotspur are negotiating with Barcelona to sign Andre Gomes, according to Sky Sports. He is being looked at as having a "similar profile to Ross Barkley" and Barça are understood to have put him on the market.

Spurs are interested in Barkley, who plays for Everton, but have been put off signing him this window due to his recent injury.

Previously, the Telegraph reported interest from both Spurs and West Ham for Gomes. He had also been previously linked to Juventus.
