Qatar Airways Will No Longer Be Barcelona’s Airline

Is this related to the Neymar saga?

Barcelona’s official airline will no longer be Qatar Airways, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Apparently, there was a "firm agreement" to continue and contracts had been drawn up last March that would have kept Qatar Airways as sponsor for 12.5 million a year for four years.

But those contracts were never signed and both sides backed off as Rakuten became the new shirt sponsor, outbidding Qatar Airways for the honor.

Neymar's signing for Paris Saint-Germain, a club funded by Qatar, was not well-received by the Barça board. Josep Maria Bartomeu is said to oppose any further connection with that country. Previously, Turkish Airlines was the club's airline partner.

Will we see a return to Turkish Airlines, or will there be a different sponsor?
