Iniesta denies Bartomeu deal claims | Football Espana
Andres Iniesta has denied claims by Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu that he had ‘an agreement in principle’ for a contract renewal. The 33-year-old is out of contract at the Camp Nou next summer but the Blaugrana’s president told reporters earlier this week that a new deal was all agreed.

Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic is set to sit out his side’s Catalan derby with Espanyol and the Champions League opening clash with Juventus. The 29-year-old picked up a hamstring injury while on international duty and missed Tuesday’s World Cup qualifying clash with Turkey.
