Gerard Deulofeu has left FC Barcelona to join English side Watford on loan. He could debut against Stoke City in the English Premier League.
The loan does not include an option to buy. Deulofeu is said to prefer joining Watford as the club guarantee him a chance to become a starter. Their new coach, Javi Gracia, is thought to be a fan of the player, and the club wanted him to join as soon as possible.

Deulofeu had previously played in the Premier League for Everton. He’s also no stranger to loans, having played at Everton, Sevilla, and AC Milan on loan. He had made his return to Barcelona earlier this season as the Catalans activated a buy-back clause, but he has so far failed to establish himself as a starter at the Camp Nou.
