Barcelona may have to make do without the services of Samuel Umtiti for a little while longer, according to the latest reports.
The defender is currently out with a knee problem and is expected to miss the forthcoming games against Sevilla, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, according to Mundo Deportivo.
If it’s true it’s a big blow for Barcelona who have looked shaky at the back this season and haven’t kept a clean sheet in La Liga since August.
The report also reckons that while Barcelona are trying to conservatively manage his injury, it’s not impossible he may end up undergoing surgery which would rule him out for a while.
While he’s out it will be up to either Clement Lenglet and Thomas Vermaelen to fill in alongside Gerard Pique.
Lenglet started against Tottenham in the Champions League last week, while Vermaelen came in for the trip to Valencia.
