Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde admitted his team will miss the injured Lionel Messi over the next few weeks. Speaking after the win over Sevilla he said: “We will prepare for it but of course we are going to notice the loss of Messi.He is fundamental and he marks a lot of the team’s game, but we will try to keep our idea and take a step forward. We will miss him, win or lose, but we want to miss him winning.”
Paco Alcacer was on target yet again for Borussia Dortmund in their 4-0 win over Stuttgart on Saturday. The Bundesliga club have already told Barcelona they want to make his move permanent.
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has had to postpone a vote on the new club badge after opposition from members. The new badge was due to be approved on Saturday at the club’s AGM, but the club will now take some time for “internal reflection” on the proposed changes.

Neymar has taken to social media to respond to speculation that he wants to return to the Camp Nou. The Brazilian posted on his Instagram story where he was seen laughing at front pages talking about his future and branding them ‘fake news.’
