But he’s not the only one, apparently

France coach Didier Deschamps has offered his view on Ousmane Dembele after the youngster was left out of Barcelona’s squad for their clash with Real Betis.

Dembele has been called up by Les Bleus for their games against Netherlands and Uruguay, but Deschamps has warned the forward he needs to be more professional.

“I’ve not spoke with the club’s staff for the simple reason that I don’t get involved with how clubs run on a day-to-day basis. It’s up to them to manage their players as they see fit,” he said.

“Ousmane has a habit of arriving late. In his defence, I am sure he will say that he’s not the only one.

“Whether with his club or his country, he has to be more aware of the things that form the day-to-day of top level football.

”He must improve to prevent it from becoming negative. These are situations that can be repeated. The sooner he understands that, the better for everyone.”

It will be interesting to see how Dembele is used by France over the international break. He was only a late sub in their last game against Germany, but started in their 2-2 friendly draw with Iceland.
