Diego Maradona expects Lionel Messi to return to international duty with Argentina. He’s not featured since the World Cup and Maradona has been asked if he thinks he will come back. He answered: “I think so. We will see, because if not then we are in trouble.”
Barcelona have held a meeting with Ousmane Dembele’s representatives to discuss disciplinary matters, according to Mundo Deportivo. The club are not yet willing to sell the young Frenchman but are becoming frustrated with his attitude.

He said: “His influence wasn’t only on changing the style of play and his importance can be seen on impacting coaches today, you recognise elements from him, playing inside, positional approach, the lines, possession and coordination etc. Having the ball means that you want to take the initiative, attack the rival and take charge.”
Barcelona want to bring 20-year-old winger Dani Olmo back to the club. The player left for Dinamo Zagreb over four years ago and has been attracting attention from clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Valencia and Marseille recently.
Barcelona and Munir have been talking about a new deal for some months but are still yet to agree a new deal. The forward is out of contract next summer and will be able to talk to clubs from January if an extension is not completed before then.
Claudio Tapia, the president of Argentina’s FA, has been talking about Lionel Messi’s international future. He said: “We have the best in the world, which gives you more possibilities to do better, now is the time to allow him to chew the disappointment of what happened at the World Cup and I have no doubt he will continue. I haven’t spoken to him because it’s not the time but I know what he feels for this jersey.”
