Lionel Scaloni believes Lionel Messi will play for Argentina again

Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni believes that Lionel Messi will return to international football at some point in the future.

Messi has taken a break from the national scene since the World Cup, and there’s no clear idea of when he is expected to return.

Scaloni says he has spoken to the Barcelona captain, but they have not talked about when he might return just yet.

“I did not talk to Messi about that,” he said.

”We discussed football, but we do not touch on issues that have to do with something that will happen in so many months.

”I estimate, wish and believe that he will return to the national team.”
