FC Barcelona are already looking at a possible replacement for Jasper Cillessen, and it could be a former academy player, according to Diario MARCA.
André Onana, who is Ajax's starting keeper now, could be the one set to replace Cillessen as the Copa del Rey keeper.
Cillessen himself came from Ajax to Barça and has enjoyed a triumphant time, winning the Copa del Rey twice as a starter. He's hoping to complete his third cup victory this season.
His performances for Barça and as the Dutch national team's starting keeper have made a lot of clubs interested in offering him an undisputed starting spot. But Barça have set a price for him, rumored to be at least 25 million euros, and have rebuffed smaller offers.
Still, many expect Cillessen will not stay one more season behind Marc-André Ter Stegen in the pecking order.
Onana has earned acclaim as Ajax's starting keeper and is considered one of Europe's top goalkeepers at his age, 22.
Pep Segura has said players who left Barcelona should not be offered the chance to return, but Onana's case was special as he was not offered a renewal before he had committed himself to Ajax.
Onana has also been a Cameroon international.
