The goalkeeper has played back-up to sweeper keeper Manuel Neuer for Germany and his ability on the ball allows Barca to start move from the back.
Goalkeepers need to be almost as good with their feet as their hands in today’s game and Ter Stegen is certainly one of the best in the business.
