FC Barcelona is in talks with Pixar over creating a film in which the football club is the main star, according to Rocco Steinhäuser on the radio program Versió RAC 1.

“There have been contacts between Barça and Pixar,” he said, “they are negotiating with the American executives. It would not be a movie about the history of Barcelona, but an animated film in which the club is the protagonist.”

This would be a big budget movie shown in theaters across the world, according to the report.

Pixar, which is owned by The Walt Disney Company, is known for its acclaimed 3D animated films such as Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Brave, and Inside Out, among others.
