Barcelona are not just the only unbeaten team left in Europe’s top five big leagues but they’re also leading the way when it comes to hitting the woodwork.
Philippe Coutinho was the latest player to be denied by the goalframe for Barcelona as his curling shot smacked the underside of the crossbar against Espanyol on Sunday.
That is now the 23rd time Barcelona have hit the woodwork this season, more than anyone else in Europe’s top leagues.
Barcelona have only played 22 games, which means they are hitting the woodwork in pretty much every game they play in.
So is it a question of bad luck or does the team need to improve their finishing?
