UEFA Champions League Quarter Final: Barcelona Draw Roma

Barcelona were pitted against Roma in the Quarter Final Draw held just moments ago.

In quick pace, comparative to a lightning quick Barcelona counter attack, Andriy Shevchenko, as the Kiev Final ambassador, displayed his ball skills, showing good pace in setting four Quarter-Final pairs. Much to the delight of Barcelona fans around the world, the Catalan side were the first team to be drawn out of the pot.

With an open draw, all seven teams were an option for Barcelona, but Shevchenko pitted Barcelona against Italian side Roma. The first leg will be played at the Camp Nou on 3/4 April with the return leg coming on 10/11 April at Stadio Olimpico. Barcelona will play only two games until the return of the Champions League, against Athletic Bilbao and Sevilla, but there is an international break in between.
