According to the website Pasión Fútbol, Yerry Mina met with coach Ernesto Valverde to discuss his lack of playing time. Valverde reportedly told Mina he was an important part of the squad but has not gotten as many minutes because he is yet to adapt to the team.
The manager was also said to have praised the Colombian for his performances in the national team and promised he will get more playing time towards the end of the season. Finally, he was said to have told Mina they will decide whether he stays at FC Barcelona or leaves on loan after the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The report says Mina accepted Valverde’s terms, and will try to impress him and the Barcelona board to continue to get more time on the pitch.
