FULL-TIME, Sevilla 0-5 Barcelona: WOW. Just. WOW. I did not see this coming, we were truly phenomenal tonight and completely deserve this result. The best performance of the season without a doubt, and a very encouraging sign for the future. Oh, and we’re champions!
GOAL! Sevilla 0-5 Barcelona (Coutinho 69’): The show continues! Barça get a penalty after a Clément Lenglet handball in the box, and Philippe Coutinho easily scores from the stop. This is a celebration now, and what a performance from the team!
GOAL! Sevilla 0-4 Barcelona (Iniesta 52’): A GOAL FOR THE CAPTAIN! In what’s quite probably his last Final as a Barcelona player, Iniesta scores a golazo by making a one-two with Messi and then rounding the keeper before scoring Barça’s fourth. We love you, Cap. We’ll miss you.
HALF-TIME, Sevilla 0-3 Barcelona: Best performance of the season this one. It’s incredibly fun to watch, and Ernesto Valverde is giving me hope. Please don’t give me false hope, Ernie. Please.

The destruction of Sevilla continues, and we make it three with another amazing play that starts at the back and reaches Messi, who then plays a gorgeous through ball for a second Suárez goal on the night and Barça’s third before halftime.
GOAL! Sevilla 0-2 Barcelona (Messi 31’): IT’S TWO FOR BARÇA!!! We’re playing tremendous stuff here, and we get a deserved second goal after a gorgeous work of possession ends with Jordi Alba finding Lionel Messi for a great finish! WHY CAN’T WE PLAY LIKE THIS EVERY WEEK?!
GOAL! Sevilla 0-1 Barcelona (Suárez 14’): Barça take the lead! A pornographic long ball from Jasper Cillessen finds Philippe Coutinho all alone in the box, and the Brazilian waits just long enough to give Luis Suárez an easy tap-in.

It’s Cup Final day! Barcelona and Sevilla meet at the beautiful Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid for yet another Copa del Rey Final for the Catalan giants. The Blaugrana really have established themselves as the dominant force in this competition, winning the last three and always going as favorites to win since Real Madrid are never in the Final lately.
Ernesto Valverde has the chance to win his first trophy as Barça manager, and while this season hasn’t been exactly memorable, a title means a lot to a coach and Valverde certainly wants to get the win tonight. But it won’t be easy: Sevilla have had a great season and simply destroyed Barça the last time these teams met, with Barça somehow not losing thanks to the genius of Lionel Messi.
Messi will need to be a genius once again to lead Barça to the win, and you don’t need to be a genius to know that we’ll give you the best damn live blog on the internet! Stay with us and let’s have fun on Final night!
