Not content within being one of the best goalkeepers on the planet, Barcelona stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is also showing again what a thoroughly great person he is too.
The Germany international has taken to Twitter to post a message to former team-mate Dani Alves who has been ruled out of the World Cup with injury.
Here’s what he said:
Not just football will miss you at the @FIFAWorldCup , also your GOOD CRAZY MOOD @DaniAlvesD2 ! There’s never a good time to get injured, but keep your head high + positive mind as you always do. You will be back in no time to keep lifting trophies! TAMO JUNTO MEU IRMÃO pic.twitter.com/FbPkIKRNnr— Marc ter Stegen (@mterstegen1) May 15, 2018
It’s a pretty cool gesture from Ter Stegen who will be heading to Russia with Germany after being included in Joachim Low’s squad.
Manuel Neuer is also in the provisional squad despite missing the majority of the season through injury, but Ter Stegen surely deserves the No.1 spot after another great campaign with Barca.
