Barcelona B were relegated to Segunda Division B on Sunday after a 0-0 draw with Albacete.
It’s not really a surprise as it’s been a tough season for Barca B who lasted just one season back in the second division.
The club brought in Garcia Pimienta in April after sacking Gerard Lopez but Barcelona have only won twice out of five under their new boss.
Garcia Pimienta will stay in charge of the team next season but a rethink will be needed with the focus on using La Masia players.
Barca B did have chances to win the game but Marc Cardona could not find the target on two occasions and they had to settle for a draw.
Barcelona B still have one game left to play - they face Zaragoza in their final game of the season on Saturday.
