Barcelona have shown “huge interest” in signing defender Milan Škriniar from his namesake club, Inter Milan, according to Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio.
Di Marzio writes that Barcelona are doing their best to sign him and have already met with his agents. But Inter have declared the Slovak “unsellable” and do not want to even sit down at the table to negotiate. They want to hold onto him for at least one more year.
The 22-year-old joined Inter last season from Sampdoria and is considered one of the best defenders in the Italian league.
CalcioMercato says Barcelona are preparing an offer and that such a prospect would be very attractive to Škriniar.
Manchester United, Manchester City, and Real Madrid are also said to be interested.
