Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti was the match-winner for France on Tuesday as they beat Belgium 1-0 to book their place in the World Cup final.

Umtiti headed home Antoine Griezmann’s corner after 51 minutes in what turned out to be the only goal of the game.

France will play either England or Croatia in the final and Umtiti said it’s all about attitude for Les Bleus on Sunday at the Luzhniki Stadium.

“We don’t really know how much this means. We know that we have to win the next game for this to be a really big achievement. Up to us to do the job,” he said.

“We all worked on this together. I scored, but all our efforts defensively have been recompensed. We did the job. It is with this attitude that we can win the World Cup.”
