Boca Juniors make offer for Yerry Mina | Football Espana

Boca Juniors have reportedly made an offer to Barcelona for Yerry Mina. The club have proposed a €5 million loan deal with a €10m purchase option. The defender has emerged as a top target for the Argentine side who cost Barca €11.6m in January.

Ajax sign Daley Blind, a possible replacement for De Jong | Sport

Manchester United confirmed on Monday they have agreed a deal with Ajax for utility man Daley Blind. This is good news for Barcelona as it could mean the Dutch side may be more willing to allow Frenkie de Jong to leave this summer.

Barcelona are trying to accelerate talks for Frenkie de Jong. Reports in Spain claim the midfielder’s agent has been talking with Barcelona, although Ajax are still reluctant to sell. If Barcelona are to land the midfielder they may have to pay up to €50m.

Barcelona part company with legendary trainer Joan Vila | Marca

Barcelona have parted company with Joan Vila who leaves the club after 40 years. Apparently Vila is leaving because of “differences of opinion” although there’s no more information than that in the report. Both Xavi and Carles Puyol have credited Vila for playing a big role in their success at the club.

Women’s team joining United States Tour | FC Barcelona

Barcelona’s women’s team will also be heading to the United States as part of the club’s pre-season tour. Fran Sanchez’s side will continue their training plans and also play a friendly against SoCal FC of the Women’s Premier Soccer League.

Rosell: If I had not been Barcelona president then I would not be in prison | Marca

Sandrol Rosell is currently in prison awaiting trial on charges of corruption and is cross he has not been granted bail. He also claims if he hadn’t been Barcelona president he wouldn’t be in this situation. He said: “I am not in prison for being FC Barcelona president but if I hadn’t been then I would not be here. As president I found myself with enemies due to my commitment with the club but I do not know who I did so much harm to.”
