Willian is “crazy about” joining Barcelona, according to Roger Torelló writing in Mundo Deportivo. The Brazilian just gave an assist to Neymar as his nation won their round of 16 clash with Mexico at the 2018 FIFA World Cup to keep advancing, but it seems he may also have a transfer on his mind.

There was a report earlier that Barcelona submitted a bid to Chelsea of 56 million euro, which was subsequently rejected. Now, we are hearing that the price Chelsea will accept is 80 million for WIllian, who is about to turn 30.

Willian caught the eye of many in Barcelona when he played a really good couple of matches for Chelsea in their eventual loss to Barça this past season in the UEFA Champions League.

His agent, Kia Joorabchian, has a good relationship with Barcelona, as well. Apparently, the superagent is also pulling the strings on getting Paulinho a transfer away from the Camp Nou for around 50 million. Barcelona could see that as essentially a trade of one Brazilian for another plus a bit of cash. It would depend on whether they prefer a player like Willian - more of a winger or attacking midfielder - or one like Paulinho - more of a box to box.
