Gerard Piqué Closes Kerad Games

The footballer and businessman closes his gaming company

Gerard Piqué has closed his video game company, Kerad Games. The company was apparently losing money. Most of its 35 employees have been reassigned to other projects.

The only game the company had made was Golden Manager, a football simulation game. To continue making it, the company would have had to pay FIFPro a significant amount to maintain the players’ licenses.

That’s something, it seems, they were not prepared to do given that they had made losses in excess of 2 million euro.

The FC Barcelona defender has opted for closing the doors of the company and focusing his efforts on his other ventures.
