Rumors: Lenglet and Arthur Deals Close; Pavón Linked with Barcelona Switch

The deals for Clément Lenglet and Arthur are said to be edging ever closer to completion, while a fresh link with Cristian Pavón could also prove interesting.

Sevilla Coach: Lenglet Could Leave

According to reports, FC Barcelona have been trying their best to secure the services of Clément Lenglet in the past few weeks. Now, we are hearing directly from Sevilla’s coach Pablo Machín, who says it is “very likely that Lenglet could leave.” But, the manager said until they tell him Lenglet has gone, he considers him an important part of the squad.

Arthur Announcement Said to Be Imminent

RAC1 says Arthur Melo will be Barcelona’s first signing this summer, with the announcement expected over the weekend. Gerard Romero says the Brazilian will be unveiled as a Barcelona player next Monday.

Pavón On the Way?

FC Barcelona has been linked with Cristian Pavón once again. The Boca Juniors winger has been linked with a move to Arsenal after enjoying a breakout season in the Argentine league. He showed some flashes of a connection with Lionel Messi in the FIFA World Cup as Argentina went on to a round of 16 exit. Argentine journalist Daniel Avellaneda says Barcelona are coming for Pavón and will pay his release clause. Avellaneda did hint that Pavón may not be coming in the summer, but in the winter.
