Mario Kempes says he’d be willing to manage Argentina as speculation continues over whether Jorge Sampaoli will continue after a disappointing World Cup.
Diego Maradona has also said he’d coach La Albiceleste for free and Kempes has now thrown his hat into the ring.
“It’s not easy to carry forward the national team because you have a whole country behind,” he said.
“But I would be willling to take charge of the Argentina national team.”
