Ivan Rakitic was the match-winner for Croatia again on Saturday as Zlatko Dalic’s side saw off hosts Russia on penalties in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
An entertaining game between the two sides finished 2-2 after extra-time which meant a penalty shoot-out.
Rakitic took the decisive penalty in the last round against Denmark and was also handed the responsibility against Russia as the Barcelona star booked a semi-final date with England.

The result means there are four Barcelona stars left at the World Cup as the tournament heads to the business end.
Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembele’s France face Thomas Vermaelen’s Belgium in the first semi-final on Tuesday before Rakitic takes on England on Wednesday.
