The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana hope to return to winning ways and score enough goals to stay top of the La Liga table when they travel to Leganés on Wednesday night in Spain.

Manager Ernesto Valverde has called up the following 18 players to be in uniform for this one:

Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Jasper Cillessen

Defenders: 2. Nélson Semedo, 3. Gerard Piqué, 18. Jordi Alba, 23. Samuel Umtiti, 24. Thomas Vermaelen

Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 5. Sergio Busquets, 7. Philippe Coutinho, 8. Arthur, 20. Sergi Roberto, 22. Arturo Vidal

Forwards: 9. Luis Suárez, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Ousmane Dembélé, 14. Malcom, 19. Munir

Valverde cannot call up Clément Lenglet, who was sent off on Sunday against Girona and will miss his automatic one-game ban in this game, so Vermaelen returns to the squad and makes up the numbers in defense. The highlight is the return of Malcom, who is fit after missing a few weeks with injury. Rafinha, Denis Suarez, Sergi Samper and Carles Aleñá aren’t in the squad per the manager’s decision.

Predicted starting XI (4-3-3):

Ter Stegen; S.Roberto, Piqué, Umtiti, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Coutinho; Messi, Suárez, Dembélé

The match kicks off at 8pm CET (Barcelona), 7pm BST/WAT (UK & Nigeria), 2pm ET, 11am PT (USA), 11.30pm IST (India), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
