Arturo Vidal has left the Chilean training camp due to pain in his right knee, and will not play against Japan, according to reports. The midfielder is coming off a serious injury in that knee which he suffered last season.
He went to perform individual training with a stationary bicycle, and Radio Cooperativa reports that he looked in pain.
There is hope that it’s just a precaution, as recurring problems in his knee could spell trouble. We await official details.
Vidal is yet to start for FC Barcelona after his summer transfer from Bayern Munich.
