Barcelona midfielder Arthur made his Brazil debut in their 2-0 friendly win over the United States at the MetLife Stadium on Friday.

The 22-year-old replaced Manchester United midfielder Fred after 60 minutes as Tite’s men won 2-0 thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino and Neymar.

Arthur said it was a day he’d never forget after the match.

Philippe Coutinho started the match and lasted 71 minutes before being replaced by Lucas Paquetá.

Brazil play again on Tuesday, as they take on El Salvador at the FedExField, and Arthur will be eyeing a first start.
