Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone says how to get the best out of Antoine Griezmann alongside Lionel Messi at Barcelona is a problem Ernesto Valverde needs to solve.
The French forward swapped Atletico for Barca over the summer but is yet to consistently produce his best form for his new club.
Griezmann has most frequently been played out wide on the left in order to accommodate Messi and Luis Suarez, and Simeone offered his thoughts on his former striker.
“That’s a problem for Valverde, I have my own (problems),” he said.
“I saw him a couple of days ago. He’s really happy, obviously he is where he wanted to be. He has talent and he’s going to be fine. He’s a good person, humble, he will know how to enter the group dynamic in the right manner.
“He’s a guy that doesn’t talk much but gets involved a lot. He will slowly enter the group, step by step, calmly. He’s a happy guy and I don’t have doubts he will do well.”

Griezmann has three goals and two assists for Barcelona so far but dropped down the bench for the club’s 4-0 win over Sevilla. He is now with the France squad for crucial Euro 2020 qualifiers against Iceland and Turkey.
