La Liga want El Clasico to take place on December 4 to protect the TV rights of the other clubs in the top flight. The initial October 26 date has been postponed, but both Barcelona and Real Madrid would prefer to play on December 18.

I know there’s a lot of debate because it’s logical but my position as coach is this; be ready for the date that they tell us [to play]. We will adapt.”
