Barcelona are back in action on Tuesday at home to Real Valladolid at the Camp Nou and should be pretty fresh after having the weekend off due to El Clasico being postponed.

The Spanish champions were knocked off top spot by Granada at the weekend and head into the match hoping to pick up a seventh consecutive win.

Let’s have a look at how they might line-up:

Defence

Barcelona are almost at full strength for this one but do have a few injuries in defence. Sergi Roberto returned to training on Sunday after a knee problem but Samuel Umtiti was again absent.

Nelson Semedo is likely to start at right-back with Jordi Alba taking his usual spot on the other side of defence.

In the middle it looks set to be Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet, unless Ernesto Valverde decides to hand Jean-Clair Todibo some minutes.

Midfield

Into midfield and we could see Frenkie de Jong, Sergio Busquets and Arthur lining up in the starting XI once again.

Barcelona obviously don’t lack options in midfield and the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal and Carles Alena will all be hoping for a rare start.

Attack

Ousmane Dembele serves the second game of his two-match suspension in this game so it’s likely Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann will continue in attack.

Ansu Fati and Carles Perez are still training with the first team so are likely to make the squad and may get some more minutes off the bench.

Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; De Jong, Busquets, Arthur; Messi, Suarez, Griezmann.
