Lionel Messi admitted he enjoyed Argentina’s win over Brazil after making his return to the international scene in a friendly on Friday.
The Barcelona captain scored the only goal of the game to make it six games unbeaten for Lionel Scaloni’s improving side and offered his thoughts after the match.
“The rivalry is there more than ever and it is always good to beat Brazil,” he said.
”When you win, you work better. The ideas of the coach are carried out on the pitch in another way and it is positive for what is coming.
”There is little left for the qualifiers. There is a good team feeling. On a defensive level we worked hard.”
