Lionel Messi is the best dribbler since Opta began tracking the stat in 2006, and it’s not particularly close. The Argentine star has completed 1,880 dribbles for Barcelona in that time, 660 more than his next competitor, Eden Hazard has for Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Lille.

Franck Ribéry comes next with 939, followed by Sergio Agüero with 832 and Cristiano Ronaldo with 816. Former Barcelona players Andrés Iniesta (8th place, 739) and Neymar (10th place, 734) are also on the list.

Messi’s dominance in the stat is stark. Apart from being first, he holds a substantial advantage over second place. And compared to Ronaldo, in fifth, he has completed over 1,000 more dribbles.

Iniesta is first for best dribbling success rate among the top 10 dribblers, with 60.9%, followed by Messi with 57.2% and Hazard with 57.1%. dribbles.

Ronaldo is ranked 10th out of the top 10 dribblers in terms of success rate, with 44%.
