FC Barcelona announce squad for Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund

Ernesto Valverde has called up 18 players for Wednesday’s big game

The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana play a crucial Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund at Camp Nou, and Ernesto Valverde has called up the following 18 players for Wednesday night:

Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Neto

Defenders: 6. Jean-Clair Todibo, 15. Clément Lenglet, 16. Moussa Wagué, 23. Samuel Umtiti, 24. Junior Firpo

Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 5. Sergio Busquets, 8. Arthur, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. Frenkie De Jong, 22. Arturo Vidal

Forwards: 9. Luis Suárez, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Ousmane Dembélé, 17. Antoine Griezmann, 31. Ansu Fati

The injury list is getting shorter but there are two key players missing this one in Nélson Semedo and Jordi Alba. Another defender out is Gerard Piqué who is suspended, while Carles Aleñá and Carles Pérez will watch from the stands per the manager’s decision. The good news is the return of Arthur, who was rested at the weekend and is back for this one.

Ter Stegen; Roberto, Umtiti, Lenglet, Firpo; De Jong, Busquets, Arthur; Messi, Suárez, Dembélé
