Luis Suarez urged Barcelona’s doctors to find a solution to Ousmane Dembele’s ongoing injury problems after Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.
The French forward started the game at the Camp Nou but was forced off after 25 minutes with yet another injury. Barcelona confirmed after the match it’s a thigh problem.
Dembele could not hide his frustration at the latest setback, throwing his boots off and leaving the pitch almost in tears to be replaced by Antoine Griezmann.
Suarez said after the match he hopes he is not out for too long and urged Barca to figure out a way to help the 22-year-old stay fit.
“The doctors have to try and find a solution to his injuries,” he said. “[They have to find out] how he keeps getting injured after he has recovered. We hope he’s back with us soon.”

Barcelona are yet to confirm how long Dembele will be sidelined for. He’s already missed six games this season because of injury and two more for his red card against Sevilla, let’s hope he recovers quickly this time around.
