Nelson Semedo became the latest player to pick up an injury after being substituted in the first half of Barcelona’s clash with Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou.

The right-back, who in shock news was actually playing at right-back this week, lasted only 23 minutes before being replaced by Sergio Busquets.

Barcelona have since confirmed that Semedo has suffered a calf problem and will need further tests to determine the severity of the problem.

Barcelona have suffered a spate of injuries this season, and Semedo is the latest player to be sidelined. Semedo had been called up to the Portugal squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Lithuania and Luxembourg but may now be forced to pull out.
